Election of 2016 Board

A.O.B.

A number of new Board members will have to be elected on the night.

Under the Rules, one third of the outgoing board is obliged to step-down. The remaining board members can continue to serve on the board. Board members that step-down are eligible for re-election, only if willing.

Current (2015) membership will entitle members to attend and vote at the AGM and to be proposed for election. Nominations (signed by the proposer, seconder and the candidate) should be delivered, by Friday 22nd January to: Galway Soccer Co-op, Eamonn Deacy Park, Galway

Membership for 2016 will become due after the AGM.

Rest in peace Bryan.

Funeral arrangements below.Supporters of Galway United were saddened to hear of the recent passing of Bryan Reynolds, Corrandulla. Bryan volunteered as a matchday steward for many years at Eamonn Deacy Park, and with his wife Geraldine attended Galway United matches both at home and away.

Bryan was also heavily involved with his local football club, Corrib Celtic. His untimely passing is a huge loss to his family, friends and to the Galway football community. Funeral arrangements: Reposing at Corrandulla Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday evening from 6.00pm, removal at 7.30pm to the adjoining church. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11.00am, burial afterwards in Cregg Cemetery.
